About OnePoint

A senior-led consultancy built around one coordinated professional interface

Project management, design, engineering, cost, procurement and contract administration, delivered by senior professionals under one management structure for projects in Sri Lanka and overseas.

Who we are

Integrated consulting services for building, infrastructure and development projects

OnePoint Integrated Consultants is a senior-led multidisciplinary consultancy providing coordinated professional services for building, infrastructure and development projects. The practice integrates project management, design coordination, engineering, quantity surveying, procurement, contract administration and claims support under one management structure.

OnePoint is structured to provide the Employer with a single coordinated professional interface while preserving clear discipline responsibility. Specialist consultants remain responsible for their respective professional designs and services, and contractors remain responsible for execution of the Works and their contractual obligations. OnePoint provides the consultancy, coordination, project controls and administration services expressly included in its appointment.

Multiple disciplines. One coordinated professional interface.

Governance and delivery model

A clear decision path from the Employer to the parties delivering the project

Authority levels, reporting procedures and deliverables are defined at appointment stage. Specialist consultants retain responsibility for their professional disciplines and contractors retain responsibility for executing the Works.

Employer

Project owner and decision-maker

Defines requirements, approves decisions and appoints the project team.

OnePoint

Single coordinated professional interface

Consultancy, coordination, project controls and administration services expressly included in its appointment.

Specialist Consultants

Retain professional responsibility

Responsible for their respective professional designs and services.

Contractor(s)

Retain construction responsibility

Responsible for execution of the Works and their contractual obligations.

Authority levels, reporting procedures and deliverables are defined at appointment stage to maintain a clear decision path and avoid overlap between design responsibility, consultancy administration and construction responsibility.

Professional delivery principles

How every assignment is delivered

  • Senior professional involvement at key decision stages.
  • Specialists appointed according to project requirements.
  • Design, cost and programme decisions considered together.
  • Written authority and responsibility maintained throughout the assignment.
  • Commercial and contractual matters addressed as part of project management, not after problems arise.
  • Professional liability remains with the discipline responsible for the relevant service.

Commercial framework

Project-specific fees, recorded in the consultancy agreement

Professional fees are proposed on a project-specific basis having regard to the scope, complexity, procurement route, project value, duration and level of site involvement.

Pre-contract, post-contract and specialist advisory services may be priced separately or combined under an agreed consultancy appointment. The final scope, deliverables, staffing, programme and fee basis are recorded in the consultancy agreement.

Contractual and commercial services

Quality, risk and compliance

  • Submission, approval and decision registers
  • Project risk register and mitigation tracking
  • Cost and programme reporting

Design & Build / EPC support

Employer’s Engineer, Lead Consultant or project adviser

For Design & Build and EPC projects, OnePoint may act as the Employer’s Engineer, Lead Consultant or project adviser, depending on the agreed contract structure.

Services may include preparation or review of Employer’s Requirements, review of Contractor submissions, programme and commercial monitoring, change control and contract administration. Design responsibility remains with the party to whom it is allocated under the contract.

Why OnePoint

What Employers gain from a single coordinated appointment

  • 01

One coordinated point of professional leadership

The Employer deals with a single accountable professional interface rather than a series of uncoordinated appointments.

  • 02

Senior specialists selected to suit each assignment

Experienced consultants are engaged according to the technical requirements of the particular project.

  • 03

Technical, cost, programme and contractual matters considered together

  • 04

    Pre-contract and post-contract project experience

Practical experience across feasibility, design, procurement, construction administration and close-out.

  • 05

Structured reporting and clear project records

Registers, reports and correspondence maintained to a standard suitable for audit, certification and contract administration.

  • 06

Early management of risk, changes and claims

Variations, delays and potential disputes are addressed as they arise rather than at the end of the project.

The final consultancy team and scope will be agreed to suit the particular project, its procurement method and the Employer’s requirements.
